A whole campaign
Nine stages and eleven bosses in one order, from the wreck above Skaro to the last room. Finish a stage and the next one opens, so you're never stuck wondering where to go.

Nine lives. One vortex. Zero patience.
Kiki is a chubby white cat with a plasma emitter strapped to one paw, who fell through a hole in time and landed in the middle of somebody else's war. Nine stages, eleven bosses, and an ending you can't shoot your way out of.

Nine stages and eleven bosses in one order, from the wreck above Skaro to the last room. Finish a stage and the next one opens, so you're never stuck wondering where to go.
Eight of the thirteen abilities are taken from the bosses you beat, and each one opens a kind of door you start seeing everywhere. What you win in stage three is the reason to take a second look at a wall in stage six.
The last encounter can't be shot. It only stays still while you're looking at it, and looking costs you: a meter drains while you stare, and when it runs out you blink whether you want to or not.
Wall jumps, a double jump, and a dash that works as a dodge as well as a way across. Press jump a moment too late at a ledge and the game still gives it to you. Difficulty changes how hard things hit, never how Kiki moves.
200 temporal shards, 29 relics, 35 secret rooms, permanent health and energy upgrades, 30 achievements, a bestiary, a boss gallery and a player for the soundtrack.
Finishing the story unlocks Boss Rush: all eleven bosses back to back on a single health bar. New Game+ starts the campaign over with everything you've earned. There are three difficulty settings, and you can switch at any time.
Keyboard, Xbox controller, touch screen or mouse. Switch mid-game and the button prompts on screen change with whatever is in your hands. Every control can be remapped.
Every sprite, background, sound effect and piece of music was made for this game. The pixel art stays sharp on any screen up to full HD, and the whole game is in 15 languages, from English to Japanese.
